PRESS REQUEST
ROMAIN GUILLET is a designer based in Paris, France. He develops his work in multiple contexts including interior and set design, furniture, graphic design and edition. He went through industrial design and environmental design studies (EDNA, Nantes ; ESAT, Paris), then joined Mathieu Lehanneur studio from 2008 to 2010. He works regularly with visual artist and designer Nadia Lauro on contemporary dance sets and with the Lafayette Foundation on the pieces of the residents. He co founded STATUE design studio in 2010 with Louise de Saint Angel working on textile and space projects. STATUE wins a project assistance grant with the VIA in 2013, shows pieces in Amsterdam, Milan or Paris. Romain Guillet works since 2012 with the Toulouse art festival "Le Printemps de Septembre" on furniture and environments. He also works with Centre Pompidou in Paris and Malaga on permanent installations. In 2015 he founded with Camille Debray DIXJOURS, a publishing house and independent residency dealing with object making.
